Hoping to see more drs in the US that specialize in NCR. Why are there so few right now?

There are a few reasons that doctors don’t want to be NCR doctors. Some of them include:

1) NCR® is a technically difficult therapy.

2) NCR is best done regularly to maintain the technical expertise required to do a good job.

3) NCR has a different treatment and analytic paradigm, which means that more time must be spent with potential patients for them to understand these differences.

4) A therapist with an established practice has difficulty blending NCR with his/her existing practice.

a. Which of your patients do you select for NCR, and which do you leave with your previous therapy techniques?

b. NCR can be integrated as a part-time specialty practice, where a massage therapist or other assistant must be trained and (generally) given guaranteed work times for each NCR series.

5) A new practice marketing plan will be needed.

a. NCR upfront charges are higher than most physical medicine therapies. When viewed by the year, NCR charges are generally average to below average when compared to other physical medicine treatments. However, with NCR ongoing therapy can eventually be discontinued. This varies with the conditions being treated.

b. Most existing physical medicine practices need a few new patients monthly. The rest of the business is filled with return (chronic) patients who will never get well.

c. Full-time NCR practices need as many as ten new patients monthly, because people get well and drop out of the NCR practice.

6)Sometimes a different kind of treatment facility is needed to support the NCR practice. For instance, a high-volume chiropractic practice will have too much space and too many employees, whereas a low volume homeopathic practice will need more space and one more employee.

Hello
The last doctor training class was held in August in Los Angeles. There is interest to hold another class in San Miguel de Allende, in the mountains south of Mexico City. This will be held either in later October or in early March.
